There’s a story inside you.

It’s about time we let it out.

Oh Hey There-
Kim, Here!

I’m what you’d a call a bit of a Renaissance woman…a Jill of many trades…insert other quippy phrase here. Anyway, they all have one thing in common: words that move people to action.

For nearly a decade, I’ve been a creative director for mission-driven nonprofits, leading campaign videos, slogans, design production, and website UX. Before that, I was a writer for Sunset Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle, and Forbes.com.

I’m also an author of two books, a songwriter, writing teacher and overall hype woman for budding creatives.

When I’m not creating, I’m romping hiking trails, traveling the globe, and enjoying my dear ones.

Testimonials

  • "I have used Kim as a creative writing coach. She has been amazing at inspiring me to use my voice more and allow the reader to get to know me better. I write creative non-fiction and her coaching is positive, honest and uplifting. Kim has a way of encouraging you that makes you want to be a better writer and give more of your authentic self. She gets you excited and motivated about the story you have to tell. I used to dislike revising my stories but now with Kim's copious notes and deep insights I really look forward to revising my writing to be better for the reader. I highly recommend Kim as a terrific writing coach and lovely human being."

Wendy Zito, 1:1 Client & Executive Coach

  • "Taking Kimberly’s creative writing class was a transformative experience. Her thoughtful guidance and compassionate presence created a space that felt both liberating and deeply grounding. Through her insightful feedback, I was able to dive more fully into my own narrative and uncover new layers of meaning in my work. Kimberly’s warmth, care, and intuitive wisdom radiate through every interaction. She is a truly inspiring teacher and guide."

    -Marlena, Writing Workshop Attendee

  • "I'm new to building a relationship to creative writing, poetry, and songwriting and setting aside time to learn with Kim was just what I needed on this journey. She was patient, kind, and held the space in such a grounded way with the perfect amount of prompting and support we explored our writing. I couldn't recommend her workshops more and can't wait for more to come!

    -Dre, Writing Workshop Attendee

  • "Loving the creative process is something I learned from Kim. She teaches me this by sharing her writing and songs even when they may not be completely figured out. Her vulnerability to this process helps me also be willing to share. And most importantly she shows up consistently to hold a safe space for our singer-songwriter group."

    Denise, Songwriter Circle Attendee

  • "Kimberly is a natural teacher, sharing her own discoveries with genuine enthusiasm that inspires action. The ways she shared her openness to trying new techniques and her curiosity approaching new themes unblocked me from avoiding things I'm 'not good at.' I'm a poet and I started writing a novel after a call with Kim because I saw it as entirely possible for the first time. She makes you believe in yourself whiel you try new experiements on paper and then, new experiences in life."
